DIY IKEA Faux Fur & Gold Stool (Marius Ikea Hack)

Supplies
Marius Ikea Stool or Similar
1 Yard of Fabric of your choice (We used faux white fur)
Wrench
Screwdriver
Scissors
E600 Glue
Spray Paint of your choice (We used a Metallic Gold)
Step One
Start off by spray painting the legs of the stool. Make sure to do it slowly and as even as possible to avoid getting drips. Depending on the color of your stool you may need to do more than one coat. Wait for it to dry completely prior to putting an additional coat.
Step Two
Now it's time to cut out the fabric. Place the top of the stool on the fabric and cut around it. Cut in a square not a circle to give you some slack and assure that the fabric will cover the stool completely.
Step Three
Depending on the color of your stool you may want to double up your fabric. We cut out an identical size of fabric and used the E600 glue to glue them together.
Step Four
Place E600 Glue along the bottom of the stool and tightly wrap the fabric around the stool, keeping the holes for the screws uncovered. If there is excess feel free to cut it off.
Step Five
Using the screwdriver and wrench you should start putting together the stools. If it is the Marius Ikea stools then you will be able to follow those directions.
Step Six
Place and secure the top of the stool onto the legs and you are all done!
