How to make a Guidebook for your Airbnb
We used the table of contents in our guidebook as a guide for the entire thing. It is important in any Airbnb to offer recommendations for your guests as many of them will be visiting somewhere they aren't very familiar with or even visiting for the first time!
Here is how we breakdown what we put in our guidebooks:
1. Basics - The basics page should have the basic info about your property and the neighborhood.
2. Eats - Put in some of your favorite restaurants but make sure they are of different price points both high and low. We like to put the address and distance from the property.
3. Drinks - For this section we put both bars and coffee shops.
4. Grocery - Remember often times people stay in Airbnb properties so they can cook they will need to know where some grocery stores are!
5. Gyms - Let your guests know some fun places to work out! Offer a variety including recreation centers, cycling, and more!
6. Transportation - Tell your guests how you recommend to get around town! By car (if so where should they park), by taxi, ride share, public transportation etc.. Include links!
7. Visit - Let your guests know some of the best tourist attractions including museums, cool landmarks and such.
8. Resources - If you know of any good resources for saving money or buying tickets to things or anything tips and tricks be sure to include those!
9. About Us - Lastly, let your guests know a little about you so they can feel more of a personal connection and so they can put a story behind the hosts of their Airbnb.
